An amber scoop on a black marble block: a deep bowl banded beneath its rim with crackled gold-toned flakes, the amber below the band left clear, so that it glows a deep orange wherever the light catches it. From the far end of the bowl a thin, clear sheet rises, sweeps up and over, and finishes in a deep green cap. The block is included beneath the casting, dark enough to give the amber something to sit against.
A scoop with a sheet rising out of it is two surfaces that have to read as one continuous form, and the turn between them is where that is won or lost. The bowl is deep and banded with gold-toned flakes under its rim; the sheet is thin and clear. Anywhere else those would read as two materials stuck together. What holds them is that the turn is unbroken and long: the sheet comes down into the bowl along an open sweep rather than meeting it at an edge, so nothing along it reads as a join at all. The flakes are the second half of the same argument: they thin out and stop short of the turn, so the band reads as a decision rather than as a boundary.
At 39cm on its block it is a desk, shelf or side table piece, and it is read close, which is what the flakes ask for: at arm's length they are a crackled surface with a grain in it, and from across a room they merge into one warm band. A lamp set beside it does more than a ceiling light, since a downlight strikes the clear sheet and leaves the flecked bowl in its own shadow. A dark surface beneath does more for the amber than a pale one.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. The green is run further down the sheet, the gold-toned flakes are scattered more thinly or left out altogether, and the black block has a white marble alternative. The sheet is also drawn up further or brought down almost level with the rim, which changes the balance between the two halves more than any change of colour does. A frosted finish is made in place of the polish where a softer surface is wanted. One crate takes it, resting on the bowl with the sheet boxed clear, and the scoop is lifted out by its bowl, never by the sheet or the cap. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Banded in gold-toned flakes beneath a clear sheet and a green cap, this amber scoop sits with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
