The animal stands with its head up and slightly turned, carrying a full rack of branching antlers, and a fern pattern runs over the flanks and the legs. It is a translucent amber rather than colourless, and it stands on a round base turned from the same amber material. The base is shallow, a turned disc rather than a plinth, and it reads as part of the animal rather than as something set under it.
A translucent amber is not the same material at this height that it is on a small piece, and that governs everything here. The legs read almost gold where the barrel and the haunches go close to bronze, and the difference is large enough that the animal can look like two colours if the pour is not managed as one. It is therefore poured to a single depth of colour and the variation is allowed to happen, rather than corrected towards an even tone that would look flat. The antlers are made separately and seated at the skull, which is what lets them be this fine at this height. The base is turned true and its top face dressed flat so the hooves bed down on it.
It stands on the floor and the head comes to about eye level, so it wants a hall, the turn of a stair, or a large room with space in the middle of it, with clearance for the rack. Amber is at its strongest with light behind it or low beside it, when the thin sections light up and the mass stays dark; a downlight flattens the whole animal to one tone. Against a pale wall the colour reads at full strength. Check the doorways and allow for the base's footprint as well as the animal's.
Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The amber runs from this depth to a pale honey or a deep bronze tone, and a rose, a green, a smoke and a colourless body are all made. Rack size is set at order and a hind with no antlers is offered. The pattern over the body can be changed or left off. The base comes in this turned amber, a black stone or a dark timber, and its height is set at order. Any scale is cut to order. Animal, rack and base travel in one crate packed apart and go together on site without tools; three people should stand it up on a level floor. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
An amber stag on a thin round disc belongs with our deer statues; a fern pattern over flank and leg leads to our animal sculptures, and amber from honey to bronze joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
