A ball of deep translucent amber resin, cut open into a pair of scoops that wind round each other, with a dark outer skin over a golden polished interior. The turning cut is drawn here at a scale that suits a shelf or a writing desk. The black marble under its foot is part of the piece.
At this scale both scoops sit inside a single glance, and that is what the piece is drawn for. There is no moving around it to discover the second hollow behind the first: the whole turn arrives at once, so the object reads as a gesture rather than as something to investigate, and every line of the cut has to work from the one view that matters. The wall between the two scoops carries the consequence. Drawn to the proportion a hand-sized piece suggests it would be too thin to cast reliably, so it is held heavier than it looks, and the amber comes out a shade stronger for the extra material the light has to cross.
At 45cm it belongs on a shelf, a console or a broad desk, and it is the wrong scale for a floor or the middle of a dining table. It still reads from every side, so leave room to walk past rather than pushing it back. Light from above falls into both scoops together at this size. The marble under it darkens the scoop beneath, which is worth knowing before choosing between the stone and the steel.
Ours is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. The scoops are drawn deeper, the amber is lightened toward honey or taken to green, and the marble is offered at another size. The same cut can also be made wider to order, on stone or on a polished steel disc. A frosted body is also made and stops the interior reading through the wall, which is most of what this design is. It is sent in one box bedded on the outer curve with the marble flat beneath, and one person lifts it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
The same turn built to a shelf scale is organic sculpture; the amber shell is resin sculpture; and its stone keeps it to indoor sculpture.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
