Two amber wings cross over a common body, one sweeping up to a tall curved point and the other running out almost level to a long tip, with an arched loop rising between them and a clear open cradle hollowed out beneath. Through the body where the forms meet, the amber is smoked to a glossy near-black, black ink is marbled through the wings in fine drifting threads, and the four drawn tips warm to a translucent amber-yellow. The black marble beneath is supplied with the piece.
The darkest part of the piece is its centre. Where the two wings meet over the body the amber is smoked almost to black, glossy enough to hold bright reflections, and from there the colour lightens in every direction. Black ink is marbled through the amber of the wings in fine threads that drift like smoke in water, the crest of the loop warms to a deep orange-amber, and the cradle below is left nearly colourless, with only a few grey wisps of ink in it. Out at the ends the tint gathers again into amber-yellow, so the four tips read as points of warm light around a dark heart.
It needs a console, a long cabinet top or a low table with a clear run either side, since the four tips reach well out from the body and are the parts a passing sleeve would catch. Seen from the front, the loop, the dark centre and the clear cradle are all in view at once. A lamp or a window behind it lights the amber tips and the cradle against the smoky centre; under a single downlight the ink and the smoke merge into one dark mass and the wings lose their edges.
The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. The wings can be drawn further apart or closer together, the smoke at the centre taken darker or cleared to plain amber, the ink marbling laid more heavily or left out, and the block cut at other sizes. The crossing can also be cast at other spans with the loop and the cradle kept in proportion. A frosted finish is offered too, which softens the ink threads into a haze instead of showing each one sharply. One crate holds it on the body with all four tips boxed apart, and it is lifted by the body alone, never by the loop or a tip. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two wings over one body is organic sculpture; the amber folds are resin sculpture; and drawn tips need indoor sculpture clearance.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
