Amber Arched Abstract Resin Sculpture - 71cm, a glossy honey-toned curved form with a flared crown and splayed foot on a black marble base, shown against a plain light background.
Amber Arched Abstract Resin Sculpture - 71cm $1,82200
Description

An amber arch, deep honey through the body and golden along the thin edges of the crown and the fin. It has the flared top and splayed foot of the family, and a dark marble block, supplied with it, carries it. In lamplight the amber turns to a warm glow, and in daylight it stays clear.

Honey Amber in a Compact Arch

Amber gives this small arch a warm presence, the opposite of its clear and smoke siblings: the colour is even through the body, deep honey in the middle and golden where the resin thins. The fin and the lip of the flare catch the gold. The black block beneath sets the warmth off. Polished to a gloss over every face, so the colour glows rather than sits. It is a piece that warms a cool room, and it pairs well with brass, leather and dark wood.

A console or a sideboard in a room with white or grey walls, where the amber can warm the space. It suits a study or a library, alongside wood and leather. Evening light makes it glow; daylight keeps it bright and clear. Against dark wood it reads deeper still, and on pale stone it looks golden.

Darker Honey or Brighter Gold, and Delivery

Figure the difference between standard and bespoke at 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The amber can be darkened towards brandy or brightened towards gold, and the block can be changed for a pale marble one. Seven other colourways exist, each sold on its own. A pair in amber can be cast to stand either side of a fireplace. The flare can be opened a little wider at the top before casting. Crated alone, it is light enough to lift by the foot. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Warm amber castings of many kinds are gathered in our resin sculptures, and this compact arch in its other colours appears in our organic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
