Description

A broad ribbon of resin standing on end, swirled yellow-amber at the top, orange through the middle and teal where it meets the base, with clear passages between the colours. Four openings pass through it, a pair high up, a slot halfway and a tilted oval near the foot. The black marble block under it is included in the price.

Amber Warming to Orange Above a Teal Foot

Three colours swirled through one clear ribbon do not stay in bands: the amber at the top runs down into the orange, the orange breaks into the clear passages, and the teal climbs a little way up from the foot before it fades. Because the colour is dispersed through the resin rather than laid on it, the edges of the openings show it as strongly as the faces, and each opening is framed in whatever colour happens to reach it. No two castings swirl alike, so the balance of warm to cool is particular to each one.

At 83cm on its marble it stands high enough on a sideboard or a console to meet the eye, where the warm colours read best. It is flat and shallow, so it can stand close to a wall, and a pale wall behind gives the amber and orange their strength. Daylight from one side keeps the teal at the foot from going dark.

Warmer, Cooler, and Getting It Home

Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. The balance can be pushed warmer, with more amber and orange and less teal, or cooler, with the teal carried higher. The colours can also be kept apart in cleaner bands rather than swirled. The marble can be swapped for a paler stone. The ribbon travels in a foam shell cut to its outline, base boxed alongside, and the narrow bridges between the openings want protecting from knocks. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A ribbon swirled from amber down to teal sits naturally with our abstract sculptures; colour that frames each of its four openings sets it among our organic sculptures, and warm and cool tints mixed in one clear body suit our resin sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
