A tall narrow body furled around itself from the foot upward, amber deepening to a red-brown on both faces, on a block standing on a plinth. Amber gathers at the edges and the colour deepens to red-brown where the furl is thickest, inside and out alike. A black block and a tall marble plinth are supplied beneath it.
Furling a form around itself makes its thickness visible as colour: where the body doubles over, the amber deepens to a red-brown, and where it thins to an edge it lightens to clear honey. Walking past it, the furl closes and opens, so the depth of colour changes without anything about the piece moving. The colour is carried through the body rather than laid on it, so both faces read alike, and the body is polished on both, the inner face taking longer because it is the one seen through the opening.
A hall or a formal entrance. It is sold as a single piece, so a facing pair means ordering two of them. A pale ground behind it lifts the amber; a dark one leaves only the red-brown reading. Light from behind sets the amber glowing through the furl, and light from the front shows the red-brown depth, so where the lamp goes is a siting decision. The furl reads as one warm shape from a distance and the colour divides into amber and red-brown as you approach.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The furl is opened wider, the amber is lightened, and a shallower plinth is cut. Open the furl and less of the body doubles over, so the red-brown thins toward amber from most angles. The plinth is placed and levelled, the block goes onto it, and the casting is added once both are true. Two people for the plinth alone, and the casting is carried by the furl rather than the tip. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A tall flame furled around itself belongs to our organic sculptures; its furled body joins our resin sculptures, and a formal entrance with room to walk past it is its setting in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
