A side table cast in two parts. The top is a slab of honey amber, deeper than it looks and square on plan, its edges cut square with only the slightest radius. Beneath it stands a single block of cyan, narrower than the slab so the top overhangs on all four sides. In the shade of the overhang the cyan reads at its deepest, and it brightens towards the floor. Where they meet the line is straight and unbroken.
Everything about this table is decided by the overhang and the colour pair. The forms themselves are as simple as they can be, two rectangular solids with no taper, no moulding and no foot, so what the eye reads is the shadow gap under the amber slab and the way the two colours sit against each other. Amber over cyan is close to a complementary pairing, which is why the join reads as a hard line rather than a blend even though both parts are translucent: each colour makes the other look more saturated at the boundary. Under the slab the cyan falls into shade and turns a deep teal, then clears to a bright sky blue near its foot, so the block seems to glow from below and the amber above reads heavier than it is.
At 53cm this is a tall side table, level with a sofa arm, so it works at the end of a seating group, beside a bed, or on its own against a wall as a stand. The top is flat, generous and level, and will take a lamp, a tray or a stack of books without any trouble. It suits a position where a light can sit above it, since the amber slab will lay a warm patch on whatever is under the overhang. Against a white wall both colours read at full strength; against a dark one the cyan dominates. Indoors only.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. The order of the colours is the variable that changes most. Which way round they run, since cyan over amber is a quite different object: the cool block on top reads lighter and the warm base grounds it. The overhang, from this generous step to a flush stack where the two blocks share an edge and the table reads as a single column. And the colour pair itself, which can be this amber and cyan, a smoke grey over clear, or a single colour throughout. Both blocks are cut to whatever plan and height you give. The two blocks arrive already joined, in one crate on a pallet; two people should place it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two plain blocks of colour, amber balanced on cyan, belong with our abstract sculptures; the side table they make sits in our art furniture, and their tinted casting in our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
