Deep brown settles in the trough of this cast resin splash like the last of a strong tea, and warms to golden amber as the body rises, until the tips are clear as water. It runs low and broad. At one end a cluster of fingers, opened by two large ovals and a small round hole close to the ground, sends a long arm reaching up across the gap; at the other a tall pointed plume stands beside a slim upright finger, and short forked fingers rise from the dip between.
The colour is graded inside the resin from the bottom up. In the trough the brown is dark enough to read almost solid, streaked with a richer russet; through the middle of the body it lifts to a warm honey; and in the fingers and the arm it thins away to nothing, so the top of the piece is drawn in bright highlights rather than colour. No line marks where one tone gives way to the next. The finish is glossy throughout, and clear resin flecked with brown rims the two large ovals at one end.
Low and broad, it is made for a long surface seen from a little above: a long sideboard, a hall console or a wide desk, where the fingers part against the wall behind. Walnut, leather and brass sit well with the amber, and a lamp to one side turns the trough a glowing brown while the clear tips catch small points of light. It wants open space along its length rather than in front of it. Indoor use only.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. Each order is for one splash, sold individually. The amber can lean further towards brown or brighten to honey, or stay down in the trough so more of the body runs clear, and the fingers may be lengthened or held tight to the body. It is packed on its back in a padded case with the fingers and the arm wrapped separately, and it comes out lifted by the trough. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Brown settling under golden amber and clear tips sets this low splash alongside our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
