Amber & Clear Arched Arm Splash Cast Resin Sculpture, 55cm, wave-form with amber base rising to a clear curved arm, on a plain white background.
Amber & Clear Arched Arm Splash Cast Resin Sculpture - 55cm $2,17400
Description

Amber gathers in the cup of this splash like a measure of cognac, darkest at the foot and warming to honey in the prongs that rise from it. Up the broad left-hand wall the colour pales to champagne, and by the time the arm turns across the top it has gone, leaving the slotted band, the stalk and the small opening at its foot, the tall twin-tipped point and the slender loop entirely clear. The long arm reaching out low on the right is amber at its root and colourless at its tips.

Cognac Amber Rising Into Colourless Spray

The warmest tones sit where the splash is gathered, and the clear resin goes where it is thrown out into the air. Deep russet-brown streaks run through the floor of the cup, the prongs and the net of strands above them turn a lighter gold, and the wall carries a soft wash of honey up its face before it fades. No line marks where the amber ends. Above it the band's long slots and the slender loop read as clear water edged with bright highlights, so the whole piece seems to pour upward out of its own colour.

In a dining room or a study, at 55cm it sits comfortably on a credenza or a sideboard, where the amber can be enjoyed at close quarters. Warm woods, leather and old brass suit it, and an evening lamp beside it makes the cup glow like a glass of whisky held up to the light. A pale wall behind keeps the clear spray at the top visible. Indoor use only.

How High the Amber Runs, and the Journey

Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. One splash makes up the order, sold individually. As a bespoke piece the amber can climb further up the arm or stay down in the cup, be deepened or lightened, and the loop can be opened out or drawn closed, while the whole form can be cast at another scale. For delivery the arm, the tall point and the loop are each wrapped on their own in a padded crate, and it should be lifted by the cup alone. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

From cognac amber at its foot to clear spray at its crest, this splash settles among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.

Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
