A yellow disc, slit from the rim to a hole at its centre. The body is crackled right through, which only shows when light comes from behind it. The disc is held upright in a slim black metal cradle whose two arms meet it below the mid line, and that cradle is supplied with the disc rather than being a display stand for it.
A disc with a hole at its centre and a slit running out to the rim is a shape that cannot stand on its own, and rather than adding a foot to the casting the design gives it a cradle. That is the better answer for a piece read through, because a cast foot would be yellow and would interrupt the body exactly where the slit arrives. The cradle is black, thin and open, so it reads as a separate thing holding the disc rather than as part of it, and the eye subtracts it. Its two arms meet the disc below the mid line, which is why the piece looks held rather than propped. The crackle through the body is the other half of the design: an even yellow at this size would read as a plastic sheet, and breaking the material internally gives the colour a depth that a flat casting of the same tint does not have.
At 33cm in its cradle it sits on a bookshelf or a mantel, and it asks for light from behind rather than in front. The crackle is only visible in transmission: lit from the front the piece is a flat yellow circle, and lit from behind it fills with internal structure. A window ledge does most for it. The cradle stands on a narrow foot and wants a flat surface rather than a cloth.
Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The slit is drawn wider, the yellow is taken toward amber, and the stand is made in other finishes. The disc is repeated at other sizes in the same cradle, and the crackle is run heavier or nearly out of the body, which changes the piece from something with internal structure to a clean yellow plane. A deeper amber is offered in place of the yellow. It travels in one case with the disc and the cradle packed apart and assembled in the room, and the disc is lifted by the rim rather than through the centre hole. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A cradle carrying a disc is metal sculpture; the yellow body is resin sculpture; and a piece this bright is indoor sculpture work.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
