Description

A flame that twists round on itself as it rises, with yellow at its tips, red-brown along its turns and a swell of deep blue at its centre where the twist closes up. It opens into two points at the top and one long point at the foot, so it seems caught mid-flicker. Every surface is polished, so the deep blue at the centre reads richest of all against the warm turns. A narrow metal stalk raises the twist over a plain silver plate, and the two are supplied as part of the piece.

Deep Blue at the Heart of a Yellow Flame

Real flame burns blue at its core and yellow at its tips, and the colour here follows that logic: the blue sits deep in the centre of the twist, warming through red-brown to yellow at the outer points. The colours are graded, never banded, and every turn of the twist shows a different mix of them. The two upper points lean apart like a forked tongue of fire. From the side the flame is slim and from the front it is broad, so it changes character as you walk past.

Its warm colours suit a study, a living room shelf or a hall console, and it brings real heat to a cool white or grey interior. Give it a spot that shows both its broad front and its slim side, with a lamp beside it in the evening to deepen the blue. Two placed facing each other at either end of a sideboard make a lively pair.

Graded Colour, Twist and Packing

Whether it is standard or bespoke sets the build: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The grading can be turned around, blue at the tips and yellow at the heart, or made entirely in warm tones from amber to red. The twist can be wound more or less tightly, and the points drawn out further. It can be made in clear resin too, with the colour kept to a single thin edge. The box is lined with foam shaped round the points, the parts that need protecting, so it arrives unmarked. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A flame graded from blue to yellow belongs with our abstract sculptures; a twisting form in warm resin colour suits our resin sculptures, and a fiery accent for a hall console joins our indoor sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
