The bust is cut off level across the chest and the tops of the arms, so it ends on a flat plane and needs nothing under it: the cut face is what it stands on. The face and shoulders are modelled plainly, and from the crown the hair lifts and then breaks apart into a cluster of separate spheres of different sizes rising and thinning as they go. The resin is a translucent yellow throughout.
This piece is a flat plane at one end and an open cluster at the other, and both extremes are exacting for opposite reasons. The chest cut has an edge running right round the bust and every part of it is seen at once, so it is trued off on a flat bed and dressed to one sharpness the whole way round, back included. The cluster is the other half: each sphere touches its neighbours at a point and is polished right round through the gaps, which are too narrow for a finger, and the transition from combed hair into loose spheres has to happen over a few centimetres or the two halves look like separate objects joined at the crown.
Because it ends flat, this needs a surface at chest height or a little below and nothing under it: a console, a mantel, a shelf, a plinth of its own. It is met from the front and slightly below, which is how a bust is always met, and it loses the cluster's shape from directly above. A translucent yellow wants daylight or a cool lamp; a warm bulb pushes it towards orange and flattens the colour. Against a white or a grey wall it reads at full strength.
In the workshop a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. Cluster size is settled at order, from this rising mass to a low crown or a single tall stack, and the spheres can be evened out or made to vary more. The yellow can be taken to an amber, a rose, a green, a smoke or a colourless body, and an opaque finish is offered. A full seated figure can be made to order. Scale is open in both directions. One fitted crate holds it with the cluster packed clear of the walls; two lift it at the shoulders and there is nothing to fit. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A bust whose hair breaks into spheres belongs with our abstract sculptures; a crown of separate spheres leads to our contemporary and modern sculptures, and translucent yellow joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
