A draped figure in clear resin with yellow and brown ink suspended through it. The figure stands tall in long folds, its crown turned back and open at the top and its hem swinging wide at the foot. The ink gathers thickly in the skirt, where soft yellow clouds and dark brown threads twist together, and it thins as it climbs, leaving the crown clear. A black marble base is supplied.
The two inks behave differently in the clear resin: the yellow opens into soft clouds and the brown pulls out into fine, dark threads, and together they look like smoke caught mid-drift. The pattern is set where it falls, so no two figures in this colourway carry the same drift. Keeping the ink to the skirt and the body lets the folds at the foot read busy while the thrown-back crown stays clean and glassy. The whole figure is polished, which keeps the clear resin bright around the colour.
Set it on a console, a sideboard or a plinth in a hallway, against a plain pale wall so the ink can be read. Busy wallpaper behind it tangles with the threads. Side light from a window separates the yellow from the brown, and a lamp on the other side keeps the crown bright. It sits well with ochre, olive and warm grey.
Standard pieces take 3–4 weeks and bespoke commissions 5–6. The ink can be laid more heavily, carried up into the crown, or changed for other colours, blue with grey or red with black. White marble can replace the black base. Other versions of this figure are clear, amber, the brown-folded clear original, and crackled amber and green, each sold on its own. It is crated upright with its base beneath, and two people should handle it, one at the base and one steadying the waist. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Yellow clouds and brown threads of ink in a clear skirt place it among our resin sculptures, draped figures with an upright, modern line in our contemporary and modern sculptures, and more to furnish a room in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
