The top of this console is frosted white acrylic, thick and long, with its edges left square. Under it stand two upright legs cut from heavier stock, each carrying a brass strap across its shoulder where it takes the top and a brass shoe where it meets the floor. A white round stretcher passes between them just under the top, so the space beneath the console stays open.
Frosting acrylic at this section is a decision taken in the cast rather than a treatment put on the face, because a frost applied only to the surface reads as a film over a clear core wherever an edge shows, and a top this thick shows its edge the whole way round. The legs are cut from heavier stock than the top so they read as structure and not as more of the same sheet, and each stands square to the floor. The brass straps are the join. Each is formed to the shoulder of its trestle and set to take the top across a band instead of at a corner, and the shoes do the same work in reverse at the floor. The brass is plated over steel, so all four pieces are run together to hold one colour.
A console of this length wants a wall that can take it, and take it whole: an entrance, the long side of a dining room, a landing wide enough to walk past it. The frosted top is the one surface here that throws no reflection, so it sits comfortably under a mirror or a picture where a clear top would compete. Keep the trestles clear of a deep skirting so the brass shoes read, and leave the stretcher in view rather than screening it behind baskets.
Lead times run 5–6 weeks bespoke and 3–4 standard. The strap and the shoe are offered in a brighter brass, a darker bronze or a plain polished steel, and the two need not match. Stretcher height is set at order, and the stretcher can be set nearer the floor where wanted. Top thickness is open in either direction, and the frost can be taken to a solid white or left as a light mist. Length is cut to order. Top and legs come separately, and the thick top needs three people, being heavy and unhandy at once. Fitting is two straps and two bolts per trestle, done where the console is going to stand. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Brass straps and shoes on two upright legs belong with our stainless steel sculptures; a frosted top that throws no reflection leads to our acrylic sculptures, and a console to sit under a hall mirror joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
