A single sheet folded over on itself and standing on the fold, frosted white throughout, carried on a disc of brushed steel. White throughout, with the inside of the fold reading a shade deeper simply because less light reaches it. A deep disc of brushed steel is supplied beneath it.
A single fold has no join anywhere in it, so a sheet this size reads as one surface turning instead of as two sheets meeting. A sheet this size made in two pieces would show its join wherever the light struck it. Folding one sheet instead means there is nothing to show, and the piece is read as a single surface turning rather than as two surfaces meeting. A single fold in a frosted body means the material has no join anywhere in it, so the piece is read as one continuous surface turning rather than as two sheets meeting. Frosted over both faces of the fold, and the steel is brushed rather than mirrored so it does not double the casting.
Floor work for a wide room or a landing, set where there is space to see round the back of the fold. A dark ground behind it. White on white removes the piece entirely. Light from one side gives the fold its depth; light from directly in front makes it a flat white shape. The fold carries the width of a landing and its interior opens only as you move round.
Every standard piece is made in 3–4 weeks, and every bespoke commission in 5–6. Ask for the fold to be opened, for a tint through the sheet, or for the disc mirrored rather than brushed. Open the fold and the height comes down with it, since the sheet keeps its own length and the folding is what stands it up. Two crates, and the disc is brought level before the casting goes near it. Three people. It is broad and light, which is the worst combination for a doorway. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A brushed steel disc under a single frosted fold leads to our stainless steel sculptures; the white sheet, turning in one fold, belongs to our resin sculptures, and a landing open behind it, so the back of the fold is seen, gives it its setting in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
