A frosted white plinth, square in plan, made for raising a piece towards the eye. Every face is frosted acrylic sheet, milky white and softly translucent, while the cut edges stay clear so that the corners show as fine bright lines. The top is flat and square. It is a quiet plinth, and it lets whatever stands on it take all the attention.
Frosting is how acrylic is made calm. A clear sheet reflects the room and shows everything behind it; a frosted one diffuses both, so the column reads as an even, soft white block whatever is around it. Leaving the edges clear keeps it from looking like painted wood: the corners catch the light as thin lines and give away the material. The height lifts a piece to the eye of someone standing, and the square plan keeps the column steady and plain.
At 110cm it suits a gallery, a showroom, a reception or a hall, anywhere a piece needs to be shown near eye level without the plinth itself becoming a feature. It looks well against a coloured wall, where its white stands out, or out on the open floor of a room with space to circle it. Light from above lights the top and makes the frosted faces glow softly. Pairs or sets at different heights make a considered display.
Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. It can be made to another height or on another square, and in clear, black, coloured or iridescent sheet instead of frosted; sets can be ordered in graded heights. A graded set lets a group of pieces be read in order. It is moved upright, held low on two of its sides and never by the rim of its top, and set level by hand where it is to stand. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted white plinth with clear edges, made to lift one piece towards the eye, is part of our art furniture, our geometric sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
