The carcase of this side table is a frosted white acrylic box, open at the back and cut through at the front by an arch that rises almost to the underside of the top. Four brass studs are set into the front face, two on each side of the arch. Over the box sits a solid black timber top, overhanging on every side so its edge shows as a dark line right round. It is deeper than a lamp table needs to be.
Frosted acrylic and dark timber are an awkward pair to join, because one moves with the weather and the other does not. The top is not glued down but held on fixings that allow the timber to move across its width, which is why the overhang is generous on all four sides: a top fitted flush would show that movement at a corner sooner or later. The arch is cut through the front panel and its edge is worked back to a polish, so the frost stops at the opening and the cut face reads bright against it. The brass studs are set from the front into blind holes rather than passed through the panel, so nothing shows inside the box. The carcase corners are mitred and bonded, then reworked so the frost carries across the joint.
A frosted box reads as a solid where a clear one would disappear, so this is the acrylic table to use where the room needs something to sit still: beside a bed, at a sofa's arm, or in a hall where a clear piece would be walked into. The arch gives it a front, so it wants to face into the room. At 45cm the timber top meets most chair arms. A pale floor keeps the box reading white; on a dark floor it takes on the colour of what is under it.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The timber top is offered in this black stain, a natural oak, a walnut or painted, and its overhang is set at order. Stud count and layout are open - four is the balance we would choose, but two or six work and they can be brass, bronze, chrome or black. The arch can be taken up higher in the panel or drawn into a plain rectangular opening, and the acrylic is available frosted in a colour rather than white. Box and top travel separately and go together with four fixings, which one person can do with a screwdriver. Both are a one-person carry. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted box with an arched opening belongs with our acrylic sculptures; four brass studs under a black timber top lead to our art furniture, and a side table steady enough for a busy hall joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
