Description

Two mourning angels lean inward over a large heart-shaped tablet, hands laid along its top edge and a spray of flowers held low at each side. Their wings rise behind them, a row of small cherub heads runs along the bottom edge below the heart, and the group sits on a single low base slab.

Two Angels Leaning Over a Carved Heart

The row of cherub heads along the foot is the fiddly part and it is cut first, not last, because it sits at the very bottom of the block where a chisel can only reach before the mass above it is roughed out. Each head is worked to the same depth so the row reads as a band rather than a line of separate faces. The two angels above are laid out together from measurements taken off the heart itself.

This is broader than it is tall, so it wants a double plot or a family grave rather than a narrow single, and it sits low enough for a lawn section that permits an upright. Set it where both angels are seen at once, which means square to the path rather than angled. Check the burial authority limits on width and height above ground before ordering.

A Wide Face and a Low Plot

Twelve weeks. The cherub band is cut before the heart is faced and the heart before either angel, working from the bottom of the block upward, because every stage above would block access to the one below. The flower sprays are freed at the end. The heart arrives with nothing on it and takes names and dates in the lettering you prefer, or stays bare for your own mason. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. Around 1,366kg in one piece, lifted with a gantry onto a poured foundation.

Production Time

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
