Traditional Buddha Face Bronze Relief by Giant Sculptures, a 40cm wall panel with closed eyes, urna mark, and spiral ushnisha in warm golden-brown patina.
Traditional Buddha Face Bronze Relief - 40cm $8,95700
Description

The Traditional Buddha Face Bronze Relief is a 40cm wall-mounted panel presenting a serene, close-up portrait of the Buddha in low relief. Downcast closed eyes, an urna flame mark at the forehead, an engraved geometric headband, and a crowning ushnisha of spiral curls combine to form an expression of complete meditative stillness.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

Cast using the lost-wax process, this bronze Buddha relief panel is hand-finished to develop its characteristic warm golden-brown patina, with darker brown tones settling naturally into the recessed areas of the face to heighten the sense of depth and contour. The surface sits at a matte to semi-matte finish that reads as antique and considered rather than decorative. The panel is constructed from multiple rectangular tile sections joined with visible seam lines, a deliberate feature of the design that emphasises the monumental, architectural quality of the piece.

This bronze wall relief sculpture is suited to interiors where the palette runs to warm neutrals, aged timbers, raw plaster, or dark stone. It works equally well as a solitary focal point above a console or fireplace, or as part of a larger composed wall arrangement. The weight and tactile depth of the bronze give it a physical presence that reproductions in resin or ceramic cannot approach. Given its wall-mounted format and indoor suitability, it is ideally placed in a hallway, meditation space, living room, or hotel lobby.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We offer a range of patina finishes beyond the standard aged bronze, including verde green, dark espresso brown, and polished bright bronze. The panel can also be scaled up for larger architectural installations. If you would like a commission inspired by the work of traditional Southeast Asian Buddhist sculptural traditions, or require a site-specific variation, please contact us before ordering so we can advise on the best approach.
