The top is a frosted slab with a torn irregular edge running all the way round, and through the middle of it runs a smooth oval panel left clear of the texture. It is carried on a single polished steel column that rises to meet the underside, and that column stands on a wide mirror-polished disc resting flat on the floor. The steel is bright and geometrically exact against a top that is neither.
Rough against exact, and the column is the pivot. The slab is frosted with a torn irregular edge running the whole way round, and through the middle of it runs a smooth oval panel deliberately left clear of the texture - somewhere to put something down, and a quiet centre for an otherwise busy surface. Beneath it a single polished steel column rises to the underside and stands on a wide mirror-polished disc. One support, not two, which is what leaves the whole length of the slab reaching out and reading as a sheet. The steel is bright, circular and geometrically exact; the top is none of those things, and the contrast is the piece.
It needs clear floor on every side. The single column means chairs can sit anywhere round it with no leg in the way, which is the practical argument for the base. The mirrored disc returns the floor beneath it, so whatever that floor is will be seen twice. The torn edge wants clearance at walkways. Four people. Inside only.
As standard the build runs 3–4 weeks, and as a bespoke commission 5–6. Most of it is the torn slab edge. You settle three things. It is priced and supplied as a table alone. The slab is offered tinted and clear as well as frosted, the smooth centre panel can be left out, and the column and disc are available in a brushed finish. Overall length is open, and so is top thickness. The group is made as one so that the line the torn edge takes reads the same on each piece. Its crate is shaped round the torn slab edge and the mirror foot, and four people lift it from there. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted slab with a torn edge, held up by one mirrored steel column, is a working table for our art furniture; rough resin against bright steel speaks for our contemporary and modern sculptures, and a slab that wants floor on every side is shown with our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
