A slim column of deep teal resin given a half turn through its middle, drawn in at the waist and flaring toward a head that is cut off on a slant. The teal is deepest at the head; lower down, one broad face clears to a pale, silvery grey while the other stays dark right to the foot, so the two tones wind round each other through the twist. A black marble base comes with it and is wider at the foot than the column standing on it.
A twisted column is one of the few forms where the edges and the finish have to be settled together. Keep the edges crisp and the turn is described by hard lines winding up the piece; round them off and the same geometry becomes a soft column that could be almost anything. These are left sharp, and they catch the light as they wind in through the waist. The colour runs with the twist rather than across it, the teal deepest at the head and one face clearing to silvery grey below, so the two tones mark the turn as plainly as the edges do.
At 80cm on its base it suits a console or a floor corner, and unusually it also works against a wall, since the twist gives a new face from every quarter anyway. A light set to one side runs down the wound edge and describes the turn better than anything overhead. The base wants a level surface. Because the column turns through its middle, it shows a different profile from every quarter of the room.
Reckon on 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke one. The twist is tightened or loosened, the tint is pushed to a colder cast, and the edges are cut sharper still. The column is cast at other heights, and the twist is kept through its middle whatever the run. A tighter twist, with the faces winding round twice on the way up, makes a much busier column. It ships standing, crated with the head supported, and it is lifted by the base with a hand steadying the column, never by the slanted head. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A column wound through a half turn is indoor sculpture for a corner; forms that wind rather than bend belong to contemporary sculpture; and the colour darkens toward the head of the twist in resin sculpture.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
