This is a set of seven swallows in translucent teal resin, each bird a single swept crescent of wings with a small pointed head, caught as if diving. They come in a spread of sizes, from small birds to bigger ones, and each is a separate sculpture, so the flight can be grouped however the room suits. The teal is richest through the body, where the resin is deepest, and clears towards the tip of each wing.
A swallow made as one sweep of resin leaves nowhere to hide, since the outline is the whole of the detail. Each bird is drawn as a single arc from wing tip to wing tip, with the head pushed forward at its point, and the arc is judged from several metres away before it is finished, because a kink that cannot be seen close to reads as a broken wing across a room. The teal is held deep where the body is thickest and left to thin out along each wing, which is what gives a flat shape its sense of depth. The set is graded in size so the seven read as birds seen at different distances, and every edge is polished to carry the light.
Seven swallows want space around them so that the flight is read as one group: a hallway, the landing at the head of a stair, or a reception where people arrive and look up. They can be gathered close as a tight flight or spread out as a loose one, and a rising line suggests birds climbing. Daylight from one side suits them best, since it shows the teal clear at the edges and deep at the centre of each bird, and a pale ground behind them keeps the colour at full strength.
Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. One price buys all seven swallows as a set. Their teal can be changed at order to a clear, an amber, a smoke or a deeper blue, and a set can be made with more birds or with fewer. The sizes step down through the set as standard, and they can be made closer to one another where a more even flight is wanted. Each swallow can be lifted with one hand, and the seven travel in one box, each wrapped in a compartment of its own so the set arrives complete. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Seven teal swallows in flight belong with our bird sculptures; a flight cast in translucent resin leads to our resin sculptures, and a set graded from near to far joins our contemporary and modern sculptures.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
