Teal Marbled Dancing Figure Resin Sculpture, 69cm, mid-turn pose with teal and black marbling, on a black block base, plain light background.
Teal Marbled Dancing Figure Resin Sculpture - 69cm $1,68700
Description

A dancer cast in clear resin marbled with streaks of teal and black, caught mid-turn, with one arm thrown up in an arc and the skirt swinging wide beneath. The marbling runs with the movement, winding through the skirt and up the body like smoke, and leaves clear passages where the light comes through. It is mounted on a black marble block, included.

Teal Smoke Through a Turning Dancer

Marbling suits a figure in motion because it moves too: the teal and black streaks follow the swing of the skirt and the turn of the body, so the dance is drawn a second time in colour. No two pieces are marbled alike. Between the streaks the resin is left clear, which keeps the figure light, and every face is polished so the marbling is seen in depth rather than as a surface pattern, like smoke held in glass. Held against a window, the streaks seem to drift.

A sideboard, a console or a shelf, placed against a plain pale wall where the marbling can be read. It suits modern rooms in white, grey and teal and sits well beside black metal and glass. Side light brings the streaks forward; daylight behind shows the clear passages between them, and at a distance the dancer reads as a dark, flowing line.

Heavier Marbling, Other Colours, and Delivery

The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. The marbling can be laid more heavily or more sparingly, and it can be made in other colours, blue and grey or red and black. White stone is available for the block in place of black. Blue, and orange and red, versions of the dancer are sold on their own. It comes in one crate; as the figure is slim, it is handled by the block only, and the thin skirt is never used as a grip. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Teal and black marbling winding through a clear dancer sits in our indoor sculptures; the swinging figure suits our contemporary and modern sculptures, and the marbled casting belongs with our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
