A windblown figure at the scale of a doorway, the skirt gathered behind it and the body opening above, on a slab of dark stone cut to hold it down. Teal at one strength through the whole body, with no graduation anywhere in it. A base of black marble is supplied with it, long enough to steady the sweep of the skirt.
At this size the whole surface has to work at once, which rules out any finish depending on a highlight landing in the right place. Fifteen versions of this design have gone out at table scale. This is the same drawing at many times the volume, and almost nothing carries over: the frosting is there because a piece this tall cannot be lit evenly, and a polish would have put one bright streak down a single side and left the rest of it dead. Frosting a teal body at this scale means the material has to carry its colour evenly over a surface far too big to light from one point, which is why nothing on it is polished. Frosted over the whole casting, so no part of it returns a highlight.
It belongs on the floor of a room with height to spare: a stairwell or a hall of two storeys. A plain wall behind it, and at this size the wall is doing most of the work. Light from two sides at once, because a single source at this height leaves half the figure dead. It is read from across a room by its outline, and there is no near view that adds anything the outline did not already give.
Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. It is made at other heights, the teal can be exchanged for another colour, and the frosting can be taken off. Specify another height and the stone is cut to suit it, since a base held at one plan under a figure of a different height stops holding it down. It arrives in two crates and is assembled on site, the stone laid first and the figure set down onto it. Three people at least and four is better. Nobody should try this one alone. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted teal figure at the scale of a doorway stands among our indoor sculptures; its windblown sweep suits our contemporary and modern sculptures, and its frosted surface joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
