A figure-of-eight in frosted teal resin, its broad band turned up at one end into a deep, cupped loop like a scoop and opened at the other into a rounded oval. The crossing between the two sits off the centre of the run, where the band turns edge on and catches a line of light. The teal deepens round the far side of the open loop, and the frost is even across both. Nothing is supplied beneath it; the band itself is what it stands on.
A figure-of-eight has to read as one band or it comes off as two rings leaning together, and here the two loops are unlike each other. One turns up into a deep cup, the other opens into a plain oval, and the crossing between them is where the band turns edge on and changes from one shape to the other. The frost is kept even across both loops, since any difference of finish between them would separate the two again, and the teal runs unbroken through the crossing, deepening only where the open loop turns away round its far side.
A low table, a console or a broad shelf takes it, and the way round it is stood changes the piece entirely, so it repays trying both. A frosted teal holds up under almost any light, though something from one side picks out the fold. A pale surface underneath separates the piece from its own shadow better than a dark one. The crossing sits off centre, so one loop is open and one is folded over, and the piece is a different object depending on which of the two is turned toward the room.
Time separates the two: a bespoke commission takes 5–6 weeks, a standard piece 3–4. The two loops are set to different proportions, the teal is deepened inside the cup, and one face is polished clear. The figure-of-eight is cast at other spans as well. Where a symmetrical version is wanted the two loops are cast to the same size, which makes a calmer and rather more ordinary object. Polishing one face clear gives the cup a depth the frost deliberately withholds. It travels in one crate, packed inside both loops rather than around them, and it is carried with one hand beneath each loop, never by the rim of the cup. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted teal figure-of-eight, cupped at one end and open at the other, rests with our indoor sculptures, our contemporary and modern sculptures and our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
