Teal Clover Column Cast Resin Pedestal Table - 62cm
Teal Clover Column Cast Resin Pedestal Table - 62cm $4,45400
Description

This cast resin pedestal table stands on a clover-section column. Its top is a thick disc, and set inside it, visible through the full depth, is a clover-shaped void with rounded lobes. Below it the column takes up the clover outline, lobed rather than round. The column's faces are softly rippled rather than flat, and where the disc oversails the column the underside is left plain. The teal reads pale and almost aqua through the thin parts of the column and deepens to a strong bottle green through the rim of the disc.

A Clover Section Right Through

One plan is used twice, at two scales, and that is the discipline of the piece. The clover void inside the disc has rounded lobes and the column below is lobed in the same way, so the shaft and the shape held in the top speak the same language. It would have been easier to put a round column under a round top. The column's faces are rippled rather than flat, which breaks up what would otherwise be a plain shaft and gives the teal somewhere to vary: pale and aqua along the crest of each ripple, deep bottle green through the disc rim. The underside of the overhang is left plain, so nothing distracts from the void above it.

At 62cm it stands between side-table and dining height, which suits a hall or a bedroom, or a spot beside the arm of a sofa. The teal is strong and reads as the coloured object in a pale room. Light needs to come past it rather than at it, so a window or a lamp to one side shows the clover void through the disc; overhead light flattens it. The lobed column means it has no bad angle. Two people. Indoor use.

The Column, the Void, and the Options

A standard piece takes 3–4 weeks to make, and a bespoke commission 5–6. The clover section is the slow part. There are three decisions. The teal is open, the void inside the disc can be cut to another outline, and the column section is made to match whatever that outline is. You give the top diameter and the overall height. Where two or more are wanted, the teal depth through the column is held the same across the group. The crate holds the overhanging disc top away from every face, and two people bring it in. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A clover held inside a teal disc above a lobed column belongs with our contemporary and modern sculptures; as a pedestal table it joins our art furniture, and a bedroom corner among our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
