A windblown figure in teal and white cast resin, leaning into the wind on a block of dark stone. Teal over white, with the skirt drawn into a long tail that carries the deepest colour on the piece. The stone is black marble, cut as a neat block under the foot, and it comes with the figure.
Drawing the skirt into a tail turns a symmetrical figure into a directional one, so this is the version that has to be aimed rather than simply set down. A symmetrical figure can be set down almost anywhere and still look considered. This one cannot: the tail gives it a front and a back, and where that tail points becomes a decision about the room rather than about the object. Colour pooled in a drawn tail rather than spread over the body gives the figure a direction, because the darkest point is also the furthest one from the centre. Polished the whole way along, tail included, so nothing changes where the skirt draws out.
It works best against a wall on a console, with the tail turned into the room. Somewhere the tail can be aimed across an open floor, since it is the element that decides which way the whole piece faces. Pale, so the tail has something to be read against. A single source opposite the tail gives it the longest shadow and the piece its direction. The tail is what carries; the figure resolves as you approach.
Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. The tail can be drawn further, the teal can be graded, and the design is made at other sizes. Draw the tail further and the stone under it has to widen, or the piece stops being able to stand where it is put. The tail can be drawn further out, and the stone has to be reconsidered when it is: the block that balances a tail of this length will not balance one half as long again, and the two figures are settled together. One crate, with the tail packed clear of the case wall. One person at the stone, never by the tail. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Teal-over-white figures trailing a long tail are found in our indoor sculptures; the sweep of the tail ties it to our contemporary and modern sculptures, and as a casting it belongs with our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
