Description

A standing angel holds a gathered bouquet in both hands with her head bowed and her wings raised, rising from a cloud-form base over a moulded rectangular pedestal. A companion piece exists, a seated angel on a plinth of its own, and it is not included here.

Standing Angel Holding a Carved Bouquet

A bouquet held out in front of the body is the awkward part, because the flowers have to stand clear of the gown on every side and there is nothing behind them to lend support. They are roughed out as one mass and separated into stems only once the arms and the drapery around them are finished and stable. The cloud base under her feet is worked soft and rolling so it reads as vapour against the hard mouldings of the pedestal below. The stone is a cream marble with paler white passages where the antiquing has taken less.

An angel of this height reads as a family monument and wants a full plot: a cemetery avenue, an established churchyard, a private enclosure or a formal memorial garden. It carries well at a distance, so it can close the end of a walk. Burial authorities set their own limits on height above ground, and this piece is at the upper end of most of them, so check before ordering.

One Piece, and Its Companion

Thirteen weeks. The pedestal and its mouldings are cut first and the figure is carved to stand on them, because the cloud base has to sit true on the cap and a figure carved ahead of its pedestal will always want packing. The bouquet is separated last. The pedestal faces arrive uncarved and take a name and dates in the lettering you prefer, or stay plain for your own mason. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. Around 4,263kg across two pieces, the heaviest here, needing a crane and a poured foundation.

Other tall angel monuments sit in headstones and memorials, with the marble grouped under marble headstones.

Production Time

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
