Smoke Blue Knotted Triple Loop Resin Sculpture, 24cm, glossy blue resin loops forming a heart-like knot on a white block base, plain white background.
Smoke Blue Knotted Triple Loop Resin Sculpture - 24cm $1,88800
Description

A knot of three resin loops rising from a pointed foot. Two of them coil close together on one side, almost parallel, while the third sweeps wide round the other, so that seen from the front the knot draws the outline of a heart. The blue is a smoke rather than a full colour, pale enough that the loops can be followed through the crossings. A small white block is included.

Crossings That Stay Legible

A knot is only a knot if the crossings can be followed, and that puts a ceiling on how strong the colour can be. At full saturation three loops of this section would meet in a solid mass wherever they pass, and the piece would read as a lump with curves coming out of it. The smoke blue is set just dense enough to give each loop an edge and no denser. The white base beneath is part of the same decision: it throws light up into the underside of the arrangement, which is where the crossings are most congested and where a dark base would lose them.

At 24cm with its block it suits a desk or a shelf, and it rewards being turned in the hand, which is when the three loops separate. It should stand where light can get underneath rather than only onto it. A pale surface beneath does the same job as the base and extends it. Three loops through one another give a form whose outline shifts as you move round it, and the smoke blue is chosen so the crossings stay legible instead of filling in.

Loop Counts, Tints and Delivery

Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. The loop count is set to two or four, the smoke is deepened to a full blue, and the base is offered in black. Height is what is specified, and the loops are drawn broader with it so the knot keeps its weight. Two loops make a calmer object and four a considerably busier one, and both are cast on the same section. A deeper blue is available where the piece will be seen from further off and the crossings matter less. It is packed standing on its base, and it comes out held by the block, never by a loop. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Knotted forms are indoor sculpture at desk scale; loops through loops are contemporary sculpture; and the smoke sits inside resin sculpture.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
