Description

A windblown figure in sky blue and clear resin, slender and upright on a gold-finished block. A ragged crest is swept back from the head, the body bends forward against the gust, and the skirt flicks out at the foot. The blue shines in the crest and again at the hem and clears through the body, so the figure seems to shimmer. The gold block comes with it.

Sky Blue Over a Gold Block

Sky blue and gold make a bright, celebratory pairing. The blue sits in the crest and along the hem, while the clear body between lets the light play through, and the gold-finished block below warms the whole piece. The blue is blended with no hard edge, and each piece is slightly different. The resin is polished all over, so the blue reads clean and glassy against the gold. The gold makes the piece feel festive, and it looks especially good in evening light.

Set it where the gold can catch a lamp, on a console or a broad shelf in a dressing room, a bedroom or a sitting room. It suits white, cream and pale grey rooms, and it sits well beside gilt frames and mirrors. Light from one side makes the blue crest sparkle and warms the gold block beneath.

Another Blue, a Black Base, and Delivery

Production takes approximately 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The blue can be pushed to cobalt or softened to ice, and the gold-finished block can be exchanged for black marble. A clear crest over a blue hem is possible too. Clear, emerald and red-marbled versions of the figure are also made, each available on its own. Crated with its block, it can be set in place by one person, lifting by the base. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
