One ruby red fills this bar stool's shell, from the crest of its squared back to the heavy lip at the front of the seat, and it only deepens where the resin thickens. The back stands upright with softened corners and bends forward into a scooped seat. Underneath, a mirror-chrome stem rises from a wide round base; a circle of tube partway up takes the feet, and a short lever below the seat works the gas lift.
Colour on this stool is a matter of thickness rather than of grading. Where the back rises thin and upright the red stays bright, clear enough to show a pale wall through it; where the seat curls over into its thick front lip, the tint stacks up into a dark garnet shot with deeper swirls, nearly black in the hollows. Highlights travel in long glossy bands across the back and break into small bright points along the lip. The chrome below is polished to a mirror, so the stem and its ring pick up flickers of red from the shell above.
At 100cm the stool suits a home bar or the island in a kitchen, and it swivels on its stem. Ruby red is strong enough to carry a white or pale grey kitchen on its own, and it glows warmly in front of dark timber panelling. Two or three in a line read like red glass lamps along a plain counter. Indoor use only.
Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The red can be cast deeper towards garnet or kept brighter towards cherry, and the shell can be graded so that it clears towards the crest. The stem comes in polished chrome as standard, or brushed stainless or matt black, and the foot ring can be fitted or left off. A column for counter height can replace the bar-height one, and the gas lift adjusts within either. Every stool leaves the workshop in a crate of its own, its shell already fixed to the stem, and one person can see it into the kitchen. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Ruby red casting puts this stool among our resin sculptures, its chrome stem ties it to our metal sculptures, and as working seating it is listed in our art furniture.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
