This cast resin armchair is made as one shell, squarish at the back and lifted into short arms on either side of a shallow seat, with nothing joined on. Four slim legs taper gently to the floor. The whole chair is a strong red, and the tone follows the section: deep and almost crimson where two surfaces meet at the arm joins, clear and bright across the open span of the back.
This chair does one thing and does it thoroughly. The shell is a single piece with no join on any outer face: a squared back with rounded top corners, two low arms coming forward, a shallow seat between them. The legs are slim and taper, which at this weight is a finer section than the chair strictly needs. What makes it is the red. The tone follows the geometry exactly: almost crimson at the arm joins, clear and bright across the open span of the back. An edge shows the same red as a face, and there is nothing to scuff off.
At 79cm high this will run under a dining table, and its red is emphatic enough to set the tone of a room rather than fit into one. Plain surroundings suit it and a patterned floor fights it. Being translucent it throws red light onto a pale floor in sunshine, which is worth knowing before a set of six goes in. Indoor use.
In the workshop a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. The red tint sets the pace here. There are three open questions. The red can be replaced with any pigment and set stronger or lighter, the arms can be brought up or set further apart, and the leg section is open within limits. Seat height is yours to name. Seat height and overall height are cut to your figures. For a matching group, the depth of the red is set once and carried through it. It travels with the four leg ends and the arm tops packed clear, and two people can place it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Strong red carried through a one-piece shell brings our art furniture a chair of real colour; the single tint suits our contemporary and modern sculptures, and a plain room among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
