A fan-shaped panel of frosted resin that stands on its own narrow foot and lifts at one top corner into a curled horn. High in the face lies a round, polished clear window holding fine hatched lines and a cross-hatched grid, and a deep red figure rises from the foot up through it, washed with pink at its edges, all of it inside the thickness of the panel. The frost is a pale grey over the face and darkens to a smoky slate at the rims and the foot. It is made in two sizes, a Small and a Large, and each is sold singly.
Everything that gives this panel its character sits inside it rather than on its face. The outside is frosted, so from across a room the fan reads as one soft grey shape with a dark outline, while the round window is polished clear so that the hatching and the grid can be seen through it. The red figure climbs from the foot into that window, and the pink washes spread out from it into the frost, which keeps the colour feeling held within the resin rather than painted on. The curled horn at the top corner breaks the outline of the fan, so the panel never reads as a plain segment of a circle.
The Small suits a desk or a deep shelf and the Large a console or a sideboard, either one lit from the front rather than the side. A pale wall behind it is best, because the panel is read through and a dark ground puts the figure in shadow. Light from the front is what shows the figure; light from behind turns the whole panel into a screen. The fan shape carries from across a room and the figure inside does not, so this is a piece that rewards approach.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. Each size is sold singly, so a Small or a Large can be ordered on its own. As a commission the red figure can be tinted in another colour and the hatched field enlarged, or the panel made at a span outside the two sizes. Each panel travels standing in its own crate, bedded along the foot, and it is lifted out by both sides of the fan together, never by the curled horn. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Grey frost, a curled horn and a red figure glimpsed through a clear window place this fan with our abstract sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
