Red & Clear Halo Ring Resin Sculpture - 185cm
Red & Clear Halo Ring Resin Sculpture - 185cm $8,10400
Description

A ring of resin standing upright on its edge on a tall, slim white marble plinth, which comes with it. The ring is a thick disc pierced by a large round opening, deep red at the outer rim and clearing towards the centre, so the colour forms a halo round a clear eye. The room behind is framed in the opening, and the plinth lifts the whole ring to head height.

A Red Halo on a Slender Marble Plinth

The ring works as a frame, and the colour is graded to strengthen that: the red is densest at the outer rim, where it draws the edge of the circle, and it thins towards the opening, so the centre stays clear and the eye goes straight through. The disc is thick, which gives the rim its depth of colour seen face on and a solid edge seen from the side. The plinth is plain white marble, slim and square, so it reads as a stand and not as a second object, and it leaves the ring floating at head height.

At 185cm it stands on the floor, and it is a piece for a hall, a reception or the end of a long room, placed where the opening frames something: a window, a view down a corridor, a doorway. People will look through it, so put it where there is something to look at. Light from behind fills the red with colour, while light from the front makes the rim glossy. Seen side on it is a slim red line above a white column.

Rim Colour, Plinth Height and Delivery

Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. The rim can be made in another colour, a blue, an amber or a black, or left clear for a colourless ring, and the plinth can be made to another height or in black marble. A darker rim draws the circle more strongly; a clear ring reads almost as air. The ring and its plinth travel in separate crates, and two people bring them in and set the ring in place. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A red halo raised on a white column belongs with our contemporary and modern sculptures; tinted resin clearing to a colourless eye leads to our resin sculptures, and a ring that frames a doorway joins our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
