A low table cast in two colours. Its plan is a run of soft scallops all the way round, and the same wave carries down the sides, so every vertical face undulates. One half of the table is a translucent scarlet and the other an opaque black, and the two meet across the top on a line that interlocks like a jigsaw. The piece is hollow with no bottom.
The interest here is entirely in the join. It does not run straight across the table: it swings through a deep S, with one rounded tab from each half reaching into the other, so neither colour reads as the ground and neither as the figure. On the top surface that line is crisp and legible. Down the sides it follows the undulation, which makes the boundary appear to lean as the wave carries it. The two materials also behave differently: the scarlet is translucent, so it deepens where the wall runs down into a scallop and lightens across the top, while the black is entirely opaque and holds one flat tone with a high polish that reflects the room as a curved strip. It is a hollow shell with no base, which is why an object this size can be moved by hand.
It is a coffee table, and a broad one, so it suits a wide seating group with space around it rather than a small room. The top is level in both halves and takes trays, books and glasses. It reads best from above and from the side at once, which means the centre of a room. Because half of it is a strong red, it is worth deciding whether the table sets the palette or answers it. A pale floor lifts the scarlet; a dark one lets the black half disappear and the red half float. Indoors only.
Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. The join is the thing to settle first, since it can wander as here, run as a simple curve, or cut straight across, and each version gives a completely different object. Then the colours: scarlet and black as here, two translucent colours for a table with no opaque half at all, or one colour throughout with the line left as a seam. Then the scallop, which can be this deep wave or a shallower ripple, and which controls how much of the join is visible from standing height. The plan, the height and the split point are all yours to name. The two halves arrive already joined, crated on a pallet, and three people should move it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Translucent scarlet locked against gloss black earns this table a place in our resin sculptures; its free, wave-edged plan belongs among our abstract sculptures, and its everyday use beside a sofa among our art furniture.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
