Description

A windblown figure whose crest of hair streams back like a flame, its body twisting through an S-curve with one knee forward and a broad skirt swept out at the hem. Red runs through the crest and the skirt and warms to amber through the body, with clear passages between them that let the light in. The black marble block under it comes with the piece.

Red and Amber Streaming From a Flame-Like Crest

Colour that runs with the wind is the point of this figure. The red gathers in the crest and in the hem, the two places the wind seems to pull hardest, and the amber holds the twisting body between them; clear streaks are left where the resin thins, so the whole form flickers like fire as you move round it. The S-curve of the body is drawn so that the knee and the skirt answer the crest, and every face is polished to a gloss, keeping the colour reading as depth inside the resin.

A sideboard, a console or a broad shelf at about chest height suits it, against a plain pale wall that lets the red and the amber read. With a window or lamp to one side, the clear streaks flash between the colours as you pass, and in a room of cool greys or white walls it brings a real warmth.

Flame Colours, the Block, and Delivery

The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. The red can be deepened toward crimson or the amber spread further through the body, and the clear streaks made wider, fewer or left out. The block can be cut in a paler stone. It is packed in one crate fixed to its block, with the crest wrapped separately, and a single person raises it by the block and never by the crest, which is where the casting is thinnest. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
