A long crescent built from more than a hundred upright acrylic sheets set side by side, close to one size and set higher towards each end, so that together they trace a curve that dips in the middle and rises to a point at each end. The colour is graded along its length: the sheets at one tip are clear, then pale yellow, amber and orange, deepening to red through the middle and on along the other arm, where a few amber and orange sheets stand among the red at the far tip.
Each sheet on its own is a flat pane, clear or coloured; together they become a solid-looking curve that the eye reads as a single form, and the grading of colour from sheet to sheet makes it move like a sunset. Seen straight on, the sheets overlap and the colour deepens; seen from the end, the curve opens up into a forest of thin panes. The edges of the sheets catch the light as fine bright lines, and the gaps between them let the room show through.
It needs a long, open position in a large space, a gallery, an atrium, a hotel lobby or a showroom, where people can walk along it and see the colour change. Daylight through the sheets makes it glow; a white wall behind it reflects the colour back. It is a statement piece and wants clear space around it.
The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. The colour can be graded in another range, blues to greens, pinks to purples or clear to smoke, and the crescent can be made at another length. A blue-to-green grading makes it read like a wave, and clear to smoke like a storm cloud. The spacing of the sheets can be opened for a lighter, airier curve. The floor beneath it must run level from end to end, and it is moved with a person at each tip and a third under the deep middle. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Clear at one tip and red through its deep middle, this long curve of upright sheets is part of our acrylic sculptures, our abstract sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
