A pale pink blush pools in the seat of this moulded dining chair and fades as the shell rises, so by the time the back opens into its two wings the acrylic is all but clear. It looks like colour that has settled out of the clear acrylic. The seat is dished and its front edge rolled, a fine scatter of droplets covers the surface from top to bottom, and the shell is lifted on four slim dark metal legs that angle outward.
Keeping a colour to the lower part of a single shell is a matter of where the material is thickest, and on this chair that is the dished seat and the rolled edge in front of it. The back is drawn thinner as it climbs into the wings, and the pink thins with it until little more than the droplet texture is left to read. Because the blush is so pale, any unevenness would show as a blotch, so the seat is checked against a white ground before the legs are fixed. The rolled edge is polished separately, being the part a hand runs along.
A colour this soft suits a bedroom, a dressing room or a breakfast table in a pale room, where it reads as a warmth rather than a statement. At 82cm the clear wings rise above the table line and almost disappear against a white wall. Over a pale floor the blush in the seat is at its clearest, and a run of them along one side of a table keeps the room light.
Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. The blush can be deepened toward rose, kept fainter still, or carried up through the whole shell, and its legs can be chrome or a warm brass rather than black. Seat height is fixed at order to suit the table. Each chair is priced alone, and as many as a table needs can be ordered at one time. It comes with the legs attached and is an easy lift for one person, and where several are ordered they travel together, every shell sleeved against its neighbours. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A blush pooled in the seat of a clear shell belongs with our acrylic sculptures; wings that all but vanish against a white wall lead to our contemporary and modern sculptures, and a quiet chair for a bedroom in white joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
