Orange Frosted Stepped Ring Low Table - 80cm
Orange Frosted Stepped Ring Low Table - 80cm $7,15100
Description

This is a low table in frosted orange resin. The top is a plain flat disc with a slightly proud rim. Beneath it the body descends in a series of concentric stepped rings, each one set back from the one above, narrowing from the full width at the top to a small flat foot. There are six or seven steps and each is a level band with a square edge. The frost is matt all over; the flat top reads a paler coral, and the steps a full orange that deepens a little towards the foot.

Six or Seven Level Steps, Narrowing All the Way Down

The table is a stack of rings and its whole character comes from how the light lands on them. Because each step presents both a horizontal band and a vertical face, and because the frost is matt rather than glossy, every step catches a slightly different tone: the horizontals read pale where they face the ceiling, the verticals read deep where they face the floor, and the result is a set of alternating light and dark bands running down the piece. The steps are evenly spaced, each band about as deep as the one above it, so the profile reads as one steady taper from the broad top to the small foot. The frost also removes all reflection, so the orange is the same from every angle and the shape does all the work.

As a coffee table it puts a broad top over a small footprint, which suits a tight seating group: the steps pull the mass away from the floor so chairs and feet come in close. The top is level and takes trays and glasses without trouble. It reads best in flat even light, where the banding is legible all the way round; a strong single source picks out three steps and loses the rest. Orange at this scale sets the palette of a room, so it is worth placing against something quiet. Indoors only.

The Step Count, Their Spacing, and the Frost

Build times separate standard from bespoke: 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The step count comes first, from three broad terraces to a dozen fine ones, which is the difference between a plinth and a cone. Their spacing is second: even, as here, for one steady taper, or crowded toward the foot so the top seems to lift away from the floor. The third is the finish, from this even matt frost through to a satin that returns some reflection, or a clear gloss that turns every step edge into a bright line. Orange can also run coral, amber, green or grey. Diameter and height are cut to order. One crate on a pallet, nothing to assemble, and two people to place it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Evenly stepped rings make this table a clear match for our geometric sculptures; the frosted orange casting belongs with our resin sculptures, and the table with our art furniture.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
