Orange Arched Panel Acrylic Low Table with Grey Top (82cm) by Giant Sculptures, showing a smoked grey round top over four crossed arched orange acrylic panels, on a plain white background.
Orange Arched Panel Acrylic Low Table with Grey Top - 82cm $2,69900
Description

This low acrylic table has a round top in translucent smoked grey, dark enough to hide what is beneath it from directly above but clear enough to show the base through it at an angle. Underneath, four curved orange acrylic panels cross at the centre, each cut with a tall rounded arch so the whole support stands on eight feet, and the orange reads through the grey wherever the two overlap.

Four Curved Panels, Arched and Crossed

Two colours meeting through a translucent top is a harder thing to get right than either colour alone. The grey is cast to a density chosen against the orange rather than on its own: too light and the base shows straight through as a set of orange stripes, too dark and the base disappears entirely and the table becomes a plain grey disc. The curved panels are heated and pulled over a former, and the arches are cut after forming so the material is at full strength while it takes the bend. Each panel is slotted at the centre to half its depth and the four engage into one another, which holds the base square without adhesive at the intersection. All eight feet are ground true together after assembly, since a curved panel relaxes slightly as it cools and no two land at exactly the same height.

A round top and no corners makes this the low table for a room people move through - between two sofas, or in the middle of a family room where a square table catches shins. It sits at cushion height. The orange base throws colour up into the underside of the grey top, so the table looks warmer from a low chair than it does standing over it, and over a pale floor the arches read as a row of bright openings.

The Panel Colour, the Smoked Top, and Assembly

Figure the difference between standard and bespoke at 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The panel colour is specified with the order, and the top is available in a heavier smoke or a plain clear if you would rather see the base fully. The arch height can be raised or lowered. It arrives as a top with the four panels packed flat alongside; on site the panels slot into one another by hand and the top is lowered onto them, so even a table this wide comes up a normal staircase. Two people should lift the top. The panels are the more fragile part of the order and travel sleeved individually. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Four arched panels crossed under smoked grey belong with our art furniture; orange showing up through the top points to our indoor sculptures, and a round table with no corners sits with our acrylic sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
