Orange & Red Dancing Figure Resin Sculpture - 69cm
Orange & Red Dancing Figure Resin Sculpture - 69cm $1,68800
Description

A dancer in orange and red resin, caught in a spin, the arm lifted overhead and the skirt belling out below. The body and skirt burn orange and red, deepening at the hem, while the head and the raised arm clear to glass with a touch of aqua, so the figure looks as if it is dancing in firelight. It stands on a black stone block, supplied with it.

A Dancer in Firelight

Orange and red give this dancer heat and energy, and the clear, cool head and arm make the contrast sharper: the fire is in the skirt and the body, and the gesture above it is drawn in light. Being so slim, the dancer lets the colour glow right through it when light comes from behind. Each fold of the skirt is polished so its edge flashes, and no two pieces burn in quite the same way, which makes each dancer its own. It is a joyful, lively piece.

A sideboard or a wide dresser in a dining room, placed where it can catch the evening light. Wood, brass and cream set it off well, and in a grey scheme it brings a welcome burst of energy. A window behind it makes the red glow; a lamp at the side picks out the folds, and candlelight nearby sets the whole skirt flickering.

Deeper Red, Other Heads, and Delivery

Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The red can be deepened towards crimson or the orange warmed towards amber, and the head and arm can be tinted to match or left fully clear. Pale stone can replace the black block. Blue and teal-marbled versions of this dancer are sold separately. It is delivered on its block, and it is carried by that block alone, since the raised arm and the flared hem are too fine to take any weight. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Orange and red burning through a dancing figure sits among our indoor sculptures; the flared, energetic pose belongs to our contemporary and modern sculptures, and the fiery casting joins our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
