Description

In this olive cast resin side table one plane of olive-amber translucent resin is folded into three loops that hang deep from a flat top, and the loops themselves are the legs, continuous with the surface above them. The olive reads darkest at the folds and clearest across the flat of the top.

One Plane Folded Into Three Loops

The plane runs from the top down into each loop and back up with no joint anywhere along it, and the three loops stand at an even spacing that is set before anything is finished. Holding an even section round a fold that tight is what sets the schedule. Every face is polished, the insides of the loops included, because a translucent piece is read through as much as at. The three feet are finished flat and brought to one plane, since a fold that stands proud of the other two would rock the top.

At 55cm this serves an armchair or stands alone as a plant table, and the three loops give it a footprint that clears a skirting. Set it where light can pass through it: against a window the olive lifts to a clear amber, and in a shaded corner it closes to brown. The three loops leave the floor visible underneath, which keeps it from reading as a solid block in a small room.

The Olive, the Folds, and Getting It Inside

Build times separate standard from bespoke: 3–4 weeks against 5–6. Most of it is the folded leg form. Three choices are open. The loop count can be changed, the olive is offered in another tint, and the top can be run square instead of rounded. The top width and the overall height are whatever you specify. Ask for several together if the depth of the olive at the fold needs to agree between them. It ships with the three folded feet and the top edge protected and wants one person to position it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
