The top of this cast resin low table is an oval: a thick clear resin rim, green where the section is at its deepest, running round a warm ochre granular field. Under it a cluster of flat black blades radiates from the middle and carries the whole weight on their edges. The blades are a flat dark metal and the cluster is the whole of the base.
The granular field sits inside the clear rim with no seam anywhere between them, and the rim reads green where the section is deepest because that is where there is most material to look through. The blades are cut flat, finished matt black and set into a common hub, and they are trued against one another before the top goes on, since a cluster of blades carries on its edges and any one of them out of line will rock the whole table on a hard floor.
It is a coffee table to stand between facing seats, and the oval means there is no corner to walk into from any approach. The blades stand in from the rim, so allow for the overhang when setting it against a rug edge, and give it clear floor on at least two sides so the blades can be seen.
From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. Most of it is the blade cluster. Three points are open. The colour of the field is yours to name, the number of blades can be raised or cut back, and the top can be made round instead of oval. You give the top length and the floor to top. The grain of the ochre field is common to a single order and particular to it. The oval rim and the blade edges must travel padded and clear, so plan on four people at the threshold. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
An ochre field in a clear green rim over black blades belongs with our contemporary and modern sculptures; set between facing seats it joins our art furniture, and a seating group among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
