A square column whose colour changes as you pass it, made for showing a single piece. It is a column of clear acrylic sheet with an iridescent film on every face, so the faces throw red and gold from one angle and green and blue from another, and the colours move as you walk round it. The faces stay transparent enough to see through, tinted, and the edges and corners show as bright lines.
Where a coloured plinth gives a piece a fixed ground, this one gives it a moving one. The iridescent film changes with the angle between the eye, the light and the face, so no two faces are the same colour at the same moment and each one changes as you pass. Because the sheet stays transparent, the colours overlap where one face is seen through another, and the corners, where two faces meet, show as sharp coloured lines. The top is flat and level for a piece.
Use it where movement past it is natural: a hall, a gallery, a showroom, a reception, a stair landing. At 100cm it lifts a piece to about waist height and gives it a background that never stays still, which suits a simple, solid object in a single colour. Keep bright clutter away from it, since it reflects and tints its surroundings, and put the lighting high and off to one side. Several at different heights make a group.
Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The film can be chosen to favour warm or cool colours, the column made to another height or section, and the top closed in clear, frosted or black sheet. A black top gives the piece standing on it a solid ground above the moving colour. To move it, carry it upright with both hands under its lower rim on opposite sides, then stand it square on a hard, even floor so that it rises true. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A square column filmed to shift between red, gold, green and blue is kept with our art furniture, our acrylic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
