Monumental Traditional Rearing Horse Bronze Sculpture by Giant Sculptures, 320cm, dark brown patina, forelegs raised and mane swept back, on plain background.
Monumental Traditional Rearing Horse Bronze Sculpture - 320cm $145,85500
Description

The Monumental Traditional Rearing Horse Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 320cm, capturing a horse at full rear: forelegs raised and bent, head lifted, mane swept back, and the entire mass of the animal balanced with controlled tension on its hind hooves. At this scale, the piece commands space with absolute authority.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

This sculpture is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, a process that preserves every anatomical nuance the sculptor intended. The deep dark brown patina sits across a surface of precisely resolved musculature, with subtle warmer bronze tones emerging at the shoulders, haunches, and chest where the light catches the high points of the form. The flowing mane and downward-sweeping tail are rendered with the kind of detail that only hand-finishing can produce. The result is a monumental bronze horse statue that reads as sculpture from a distance and rewards close inspection equally.

At 320cm and 1800kg, this piece is conceived for landmark placement: a sweeping estate entrance, a formal courtyard, a grand atrium, or the focal point of a landscaped garden. The dark bronze finish is equally resolved against pale stone, aged brick, manicured lawn, or polished interior flooring. The low rectangular wooden platform base keeps the silhouette clean and the drama focused entirely on the figure above it.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

Patina options include traditional dark brown, verde green, mid-tone natural bronze, and gold-rubbed finishes. The sculpture can also be produced at alternative scales to suit your site. For installations inspired by classical equestrian traditions, we welcome enquiries about fully bespoke commissions. Please contact us before ordering to discuss placement, access requirements, and finish preferences.
