Giant Sculptures Monumental Galloping Racehorses and Jockeys Bronze Sculpture with three horse-and-rider pairs mid-gallop, lead jockey raising a whip overhead.
Monumental Traditional Galloping Racehorses and Jockeys Bronze Sculpture - 260cm $135,94000
Description

The Monumental Galloping Racehorses and Jockeys Bronze Sculpture stands 260cm tall and presents a full racing ensemble frozen at the peak of competitive action. Multiple horse-and-rider pairs surge forward in formation, the lead jockey's arm raised overhead with whip extended, every figure leaning into the drive of full gallop.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished to a Dark Patina

Every piece in this composition is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, a technique that allows the foundry to capture the finest surface detail: the individual stitching of saddle leather, the tension across a bridle cheekpiece, the precise articulation of each extended leg mid-stride. The finished bronze carries a dark brown-black patina applied and sealed by hand, with warm amber tones emerging on the raised surfaces of mane, haunch, and tack hardware. The result is a surface that reads as both antique and alive.

At 260cm and 850kg, this is an installation-grade work conceived for large exterior settings: a racing yard, a hotel forecourt, a private estate entrance, or a civic square. The scale demands open ground and generous sightlines. The dark bronze tones hold well against natural stone paving, mature hedging, and brick or render facades. This is a piece that anchors a space rather than decorating it.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

Patina options include mid-tone statuary brown, verde green, and burnished natural bronze. The composition can be scaled to suit your site requirements, and individual figures within the grouping can be adjusted or repositioned for a fully bespoke installation. The ensemble can also be produced as a single lead-horse-and-jockey piece if a smaller configuration is preferred. If you are considering any modification, contact us before ordering so we can confirm scope and timeline. The foundry team has extensive experience with monumental equestrian commissions and can advise on base preparation, anchoring, and site logistics.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

30-Day Returns

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
