The Monumental Contemporary Holy Family Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 300cm, presenting three tightly grouped figures in a vertical composition of quiet authority: a bearded adult male with both arms raised outward, a veiled female figure standing close at his side, and a young child seated high on the male's shoulders, one hand lifted in echo of the gesture below.
This sculpture is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting process, in which every detail of the original modelled forms is preserved through successive layers of ceramic shell before molten bronze is poured to fix them permanently. The result is a large bronze figure sculpture of considerable physical presence: draped robes with precise fabric folds, the weight and stillness of the veiled figure, the upward reach of the raised arms, all rendered in solid bronze with a warm golden-brown patina and an even tonal finish across all three figures. The low integral plinth grounds the grouping without diminishing its scale.
At 300cm and 750kg, this is a piece conceived for significant architectural settings. It suits the entrance hall of a cathedral, basilica, or large ecclesiastical building; the atrium or foyer of a civic or institutional space; or an open courtyard where the raised-arm composition can be read from a distance. The warm patina reads well against stone, pale render, and aged brick alike. Its dual suitability for indoor and outdoor bronze sculpture placement makes it equally at home in a sheltered exterior niche or a high-ceilinged interior gallery.
We can adjust the patina finish from the standard warm golden-brown to a deeper antique brown, a dark verde, or a near-black oxidised surface depending on the installation context. Scale commissions are also available: if a version of this composition is required at a different height, or if you are working with a specific architectural brief, contact us before ordering so we can discuss the scope. The piece can also be developed as a fully bespoke commission inspired by this three-figure family format.
