Monumental Classical Chariot with Goddess and Horses Bronze Sculpture by Giant Sculptures, two rearing horses pulling a standing robed goddess and seated companion, dark patina.
Monumental Classical Chariot with Goddess and Horses Bronze Sculpture - 420cm $173,20800
Description

The Monumental Classical Chariot with Goddess and Horses Bronze Sculpture stands 420cm tall and weighs 2,300kg, a commanding public-monument composition in which two rearing horses surge forward in full gallop, harnessed to a classical war chariot carrying a standing female figure with one arm raised aloft and a second seated companion at her side.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished to a Deep Aged Patina

Every element of this piece is produced through the traditional lost-wax casting process, allowing the foundry to preserve the precise tension in each horse's raised foreleg, the fold of classical drapery across both figures, and the fine bridle and harness work that traces across the horses' necks and chests. The surface carries a dark bronze patina, ranging from deep brown to near-black in the recessed passages, with consistent aged toning across all elements and low reflectivity that reads as authoritative rather than decorative. The result is a finish indistinguishable from museum-grade bronze casting.

At 420cm, this is a piece conceived for grand civic or estate settings: a formal courtyard entrance, a sweeping driveway terminus, a public plaza, or a monumental interior atrium with sufficient ceiling height. The dark patina sits naturally against pale limestone, polished granite, classical stonework, and rendered architectural facades. Its monumental bronze chariot sculpture scale places it firmly in the tradition of commemorative public statuary, and it commands any site from a considerable distance. The broad rectangular stone plinth on which it is presented provides a plain stepped base that anchors the composition without competing with the figure work above.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

Customisation options include alternative patina finishes such as verde antico green, golden brown, or a warm mid-tone brown; bespoke scaling to suit your specific site; and modifications to the plinth profile or material. This composition lends itself particularly well to paired or mirrored installation across a formal gateway. We also accept fully bespoke commissions inspired by the work of classical figurative sculptors working in the monumental tradition. Contact us before ordering to discuss your requirements in full.
