Monumental Classical Bearded Rider and Horse Bronze Sculpture - 430cm $191,67100
Description

The Monumental Classical Bearded Rider and Horse Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 430cm, presenting a bearded male figure in full classical robes seated astride a rearing horse, his right arm extended in a commanding gesture of authority.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

This piece is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, a process that preserves every detail of the original model through successive layers of ceramic investment and molten bronze. The result is a surface of exceptional fidelity: the rider's draped paludamentum, the zigzag border of the saddle cloth, the horse's articulated musculature and detailed bridle all read with the precision of a monumental public commission. The dark brown bronze patina is hand-applied and finished, with controlled lighter oxidation streaks and subtle verdigris at the base that give the surface its authentic depth. The piece is seated on a substantial rectangular stone plinth in pale grey, completing the composition with the weight and formality the scale demands.

At 430cm in height and 5,000kg, this is a work conceived for landmark settings. It suits grand civic forecourts, estate entrances, hotel atriums with sufficient ceiling height, corporate headquarters, and heritage gardens. The dark, richly patinated classical equestrian bronze reads well against pale stone facades, formal clipped hedging, or interior marble flooring. Equally at home outdoors in exposed positions or within covered monumental interiors, the cast bronze construction requires no special weatherproofing.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We offer the full range of bronze patina finishes, from deep black-brown to warm mid-tan and verde antique. Scale can be adjusted for site-specific requirements, and bespoke commissions inspired by the work of historical equestrian sculptural traditions can be discussed directly with our studio. Contact us before ordering if you have specific site dimensions, patina preferences, or installation requirements.

Delivery to Your Address
